My Chick Bad/My Chick Good Niki Minaj Eye Make Up 2011

Meow Pussy Cats

This look has been inspired by Niki Minaj and her very creative eye make up. Also this look has been requested by my daughter. I hope I didn’t disappoint her.

For this look I used cream shimmery colour from Famous by Sue Moxley, 120 Fraulein 3*8 Make Up Palette, Rimmel and Avon. I watched the My Chick Bad video and it was very difficult to see how Niki Minaj’s make up was done. Her shots in the video were really quick shots. But finally I came up with this version of what I thought it was.

I really enjoyed creating this look, I hope you all like it. Check out my video tutorial to see how this look was created below.

Arabic, Egyptian, Indian and Caribbean Make Up New 2011

Meow Pussy Cats

All these looks on this video have been created with different brands of make up. Famous makes such as Estee Lauder, Sleek Make up, 120 Fraulein 3*8, Famous by Sue Moxley, Collection 2000 and many more. I don’t use many brushes for my make up so the main ones I use are the sponge applicators that come with Sleek Make Up Palettes. I also use a thin slanted brush to add eye shadow to the lower lash line. Sometime I will use a blending brush and smudge brush.

The Video tutorials are created on a Lumix Panasonic TZS Camera and then edited on Adobe Premier Elements  8. All these looks were created by me and then each stage was pictured. Then I edited all the pictures on Adobe Photoshop Elements 8. After the pictures are edited I transfer them over to Adobe Premier Elements 8 to make the video. This is where I add all the captions to each picture. Once the captions have been put on I decide on what music will go with the tutorial and add this. Then finally I am ready to upload the video for all my friends to see.

All these looks have been inspired by lots of countries, family and friends. I love experimenting with different shades and love it when they go together so well. Every day I get ready to go to work and even though I tell my self that I will not put any eye shadow on I always end up with it on. I just can’t help it. The best thing is receiving compliments every where I go. Nice compliments always give me a boost and inspire me to do more. Thanks to all  my lovely  friends and family who have given me the strength and inspiration to carry on.

I have put together some of l my looks that I have created so far, Hope you like this video. Any nice comments are welcome and if you like what you have read and see, then please  subscribe and get  an update every time I add something new to my blog or You Tube.

Back to Basics.(Smokey Eye look Made Easy)

Meow Pussy Cats

How to put on basic eye shadow without all those brushes and cellotape.  Its quick and easy and looks really dramatic. I have done some sketches and I apologise now there not that good. The sketches of all the different stages is just to show you how easy basic eye shadow is. I also put a video together so you can watch the step by step tutorial. In the sketches bellow I have left the eye lashes off some of the sketches on purpose also I have used beige, brown and dark brown pencils to shade in the eye. In the video I have used silver, medium silver and darkest silver from the 120 Fraulein 3*8 Make Up Palette. Don’t forget to put primer on before you start to do your eyes. I use NYX eye primer. I am not a make up artist I am self taught and this is how I learnt how to do basic eye shadow.

1) Ok lets Start with my first sketch. Think of your eye as a fan. when you start to add eye shadow try to divide the eye into three sections, with a little section left under the eye brow.

2) Choose the lightest shade and add this to the inner corner of your eye up towards your eye brow.I have used a cream colour shade. Shade across the eye lid as far as I have shown in this sketch. I have drawn lines on the sketches just to give you an idea.

3) Now Add the brown to the middle of your eye lid and leave a little space just under the eye brow. You can blend this into the lightest shade or leave till the end

4) The darkest of your colours is to be added to the outer corner of your eye again leaving enough space for you hight light. Blend this shade into the middle shade. also add this to just under the lower lash line.

Add the high light just under the eye brow. Your eye is nearly ready. Add eye liner to the top of your eye close to the upper lash line. I use Rimmel liquid liner but you can use kajal or pencil if you are more comfortable with this. Also add eye liner to the bottom of your eye close to the lower lash line. Fill in your eye brow with eye brow pencil and add your mascara. This all seems a lot to do, but once you do this more times you will realize that it doesn’t take that long. Practise this with different colours ranging from the lightest on the inner corner of your eye lid and the darkest at the outer corner of your eye lid.

5) Blend the shades and add the high light
